Next year is gearing up to be a huge year for the Tales franchise. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition launches in January, and now we’ve learned that the upcoming mobile exclusive Tales of Crestoria will launch globally.
We knew it was coming to mobile but there were doubts over its western release. Bandai Namco has now put those doubts to rest, and confirmed that it will launch globally.
Tales of Crestoria is a mobile exclusive entry in the hit franchise
Tales of Crestoria seems to follow in the footsteps of the latest entry in the franchise, Tales of Berseria, in that it focuses on a group of criminals. That’s a far cry away from the usual generic hero trope.
However, the two leads Kanata and Misera aren’t truly evil. Instead, they largely get embroiled in a bad situation due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
