The best new Android game this week: Rome: Total War – Get it
Rome: Total War finally launched on Android this week following a lengthy period of iOS exclusivity. This is the classic RTS as you know and love it, complete with all of the large scale warfare you grew to love back in the day.
Bendy and the Ink Machine – Get it
Don’t let the cutesy name fool you – Bendy and the Ink Machine is pure survival horror at its finest. You play as a retired animator who revisits his old studio only to discover that his creepy animations have sprung to life.
Beach Buggy Racing 2 – Get it
Beach Buggy Racing 2 is the closest thing you’re going to get to Mario Kart on mobile – and it does a damn good job of emulating the Nintendo franchise. You’ll race through a variety of gorgeous environments using power-ups to gain an advantage over your opponents.
Lemmings – Get it
Out of nowhere, an official mobile game of Lemmings launched this week and it’s awesome. As ever, you’ll direct a bunch of the cute creatures around a variety of levels, avoiding obstacles and traps along the way.
TotAL RPG – Get it
Last, but certainly not least this week is TotAL RPG, a Diablo-like action RPG that’s completely free to play. You’ll find no wait timers, energy systems, or unfair IAPs here – just a single one-off payment to remove ads if you so wish. It also supports offline play so it’s perfect for your commute.
