Microsoft will apparently announce at GDC 2019 that Xbox Live will launch across iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, making the service cross-platform.
If this is true, then we’ll likely see more Microsoft games on Android. Curiously, you’ll also soon be able to earn achievements and receive Xbox Live support for a number of different mobile games, though we have no idea which ones.

It will also open the door for you to connect with your Xbox friends on different platforms. Maybe it can solve the Switch’s poor voice chat, if there’s support for it on that platform.
We’ll learn more about the upcoming service at GDC 2019. We’re pretty curious about it – for the most part because it might open the door for some interesting Microsoft-based mobile game spin-offs.
