Android: 5 new games you have to play this week

Raid: Shadow Legends Android

We had a nice eclectic mix of new Android games this week, including survival simulators, classic JRPGs, gacha RPGs (of course!), and a very polished digital board game. No matter your tastes, there’s something here for you. Check out our five favourite new Android games below.

LifeAfter – Get it

LifeAfter is a gorgeous and expansive zombie survival simulator by NetEase. You’ll explore a wide open world, scavenging for resources, and seeking survivors.

Your long term goal is to build a base of operations, at which point you can start the long and arduous process of rebuilding the human race.

Phantasy Star III and IV – Get it

Sega revived the classic Phantasy Star III and IV JRPGs this week as part of Sega Forever, which took the place of the original Phantasy Star II app. You can now play all three games in one place.

Raid: Shadow Legends – Get it

Raid: Shadow Legends is a brand new gacha RPG that doesn’t really add anything to the genre. Still, if you like dark fantasy and fancy graphics you might get a kick out of it.

Elchronicle – Get it

Elchronicle is a free to play JRPG with MOBA-style combat and some multiplayer in the form of raid battles. You can explore a wide open world, craft gear for your characters, and experience a lengthy story.

The Castles of Burgundy – Get it

The Castles of Burgundy is a brand new digital board game that challenges you and a bunch of players to lead their respective states to success.
