The Danganronpa Games Are Heavily Discounted on Android Right Now

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair have both had their prices slashed on the Google Play Store. You can pick each one up for $4.99, down from their usual price of $15.99.

And they’re both well worth it. Originally released on PSP in 2010, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a gripping visual novel in which you find yourself at a school governed by a sadistic bear who won’t let anyone leave unless they murder a fellow pupil.

Goodbye Despair, released in 2012, is set in the same educational institution, under the same management, but Hope’s Peak Academy has relocated to Jabberwock Island.

Otherwise, the gameplay is largely the same, split between wandering around being a teenager, chatting to your fellow teenagers about teenage stuff, and engaging in Phoenix Wright-esque trials where you attempt to convict suspected murderers.

Somebody, somewhere, paid $31.98 for the two Danganronpa games, and right now you can have them for $9.98. That’s a solid deal in anyone’s book.
