Once again, the weekly headlines are a treasure trove of mobile gaming excellence, including a new Bridge Constructor mashup, the awesome metroidvania Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and an unexpected mobile port of Northgard. The future is always bright on mobile.

The present is pretty good too, thanks to a couple of interesting tweaks to both Among Us and Kingdom Two Crowns, plus a Chinese vacation in KartRider Rush+.

The Bridge Constructor franchise has turned out to have a surprisingly broad and flexible appeal, given its boring engineery title. Following the hit crossover Bridge Constructor: Portal Headup Games has collaborated with AMC on Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead. And the pair of them have collaborated with YouTuber Drae to bring you this extended gameplay video.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is Coming to Android in December, Pre-registrations Open

After coming to light last week, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – the popular metroidvania from one of the people behind Castlevania – now has an approximate release date on Android. Also, pre-registrations are open. Oh, and it has a price: $9.99. That might sound like a lot, but it costs over thirty bucks on Steam.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms is Coming to Android in December

A full decade after the last Drawn to Life game was released, Digital Continue has announced Drawn to Life: Two Realms. The original was one of the first games to take advantage of touchscreen technology. This latest iteration won’t have the advantage of novelty, but it comes with a level editor and more.

Playdigious Is Bringing Popular RTS Northgard to Mobile

Northgard, the highly acclaimed RTS about being a Viking and trying to establish a new settlement in a monster-haunted territory, is coming to mobile. We don’t have pricing details yet, but you can expect it to be cheaper on Android than it is on PC, without sacrificing much in terms of gameplay.

Warhammer: Odyssey, the polished-looking MMORPG set in the Old World timeline, finally has a gameplay trailer. Well, actually, it’s a cinematic trailer with a bit of gameplay tacked on at the end. It looks pretty promising, with big, beefy battles and slick visuals. Details are limited, but we know that Warhammer: Odyssey won’t have an autoplay option, so you can expect a traditional and substantial RPG experience.

Orwell’s Animal Farm Is Coming to Android on December 10th

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the publication of George Orwell’s Soviet allegory Animal Farm, developer Neriel is working on a narrative adventure game in which you have to steer the course of events as the animals on Manor Farm rise up against their two-legged oppressors and attempt to govern for themselves. It’ll be out in a month or so.

KartRider Rush+

Season 4 has begun in KartRider Rush+, the comprehensive Mario Kart Tour beater from Nexon. The latest season is set in China, and introduces new rides, new quests, and tracks ported over from the PC version. The update also brings micro-events and private races.

Among Us

Among Us, the sleeper hit of 2020, has just received a couple of fairly significant tweaks in its latest update. First, it’s now possible to vote anonymously, with votes appearing in grey so that nobody knows who turned on them. Other changes include deletion of security logs following comms sabotage.

Kingdom Two Crowns

Kingdom Two Crowns, the impossibly stylish and highly acclaimed 2D strategy game from Raw Fury, has just been updated with cross-platform saves, allowing you to put one device down and continue the game on another. Also, pikes are now breakable, adding a layer of tactical complexity to battles involving pikemen.
