Ndemic Creations has released the biggest expansion to its smash hit strategy game Plague Inc. It’s called The Cure, and it flips the game on its head, tasking you with stopping the spread of a deadly, infectious disease rather than causing it.
The expansion has been developed in conjunction with health experts from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness (CEPI), World Health Organisation (WHO) and Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), and it really couldn’t be more timely.
You need to find patient zero, track the spread of the disease, increase testing capacity and support local initiatives to keep the pandemic under control.
You’re also going to need to keep on top of the economy, use furlough and other policies to protect the populace and put money into developing a vaccine to try and stop the virus.
