Google has unveiled this year’s best Android games, as chosen by a panel of Google Play Store editors. There’s also a category for the most popular game according to users.
Nominees for the Users’ Choice Award included Legends of Runeterra, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, Teamfight Tactics. The eventual winner was Dream League Soccer 2021.
The Best of 2020 winners, meanwhile, are broken down into a number of categories, with all but the Best Game category containing five winners apiece.
Unsurprisingly, Genshin Impact fared best, winning not only the Best Game gong but a place among the five games praised for their innovation.
