Lords Mobile, IGG’s phenomenally popular strategy MMO, is about to get a special event to celebrate four years at the top.
The Ultimate Guild event will see players entering a contest to find the 100 best guilds across Kingdom Clash, Guild Fest, and Dragon Arena. They’ll play for Medals of Honor, with the top 100 earning a coveted Ultimate Guild designation.
Each Guild Leader in the top 100 will get a physical trophy, while every guild member will get an Ultimate Guild Glory Pack.
All the players in the top guild, meanwhile – i.e. the guild that wins the most Medals of Honor during the event – will get a Victory Pack too, so there’s a huge amount to play for.
IGG is clearly super-excited about the event – so excited that it’s gone to the trouble of commissioning a special theme song by musician Kurt Hugo Schneider, a songwriter with a massive 13 million YouTube subscribers.
You can watch the video for Lords below. It’s pretty rad, complete with rain-soaked shredding and a soaring rock chorus. Yeah!
And the music is followed by footage of the band writing the whole song from start to finish, including the melody, the lyrics, and all the parts – all from the comfort of a cramped workspace.
This last part will come in useful if you plan on taking part in the next two events. IGG is holding an Ultimate Guild Theme Song lyric competition from the 16th to the 20th of December, and an Ultimate Guild Theme Song cover contest from the 21st to the 28th.
The theme is “Guild Friendship”. Hopefully, the fun you’ve had with your in-game buddies and the stellar example provided by Kurt Hugo Schneider will give you plenty of inspiration.
IGG will collect everybody’s music videos and announce the top ten Ultimate Squads in January 2021.
