Cookie Run: Kingdom is a Colorful City-Building RPG, Out Now on Android

Following a highly successful pre-launch campaign that saw the game attracting a million pre-registrations in a week, Cookie Run: Kingdom has arrived on the Google Play Store.

Developed by Devsister, Cookie Run: Kingdom is the sequel to Cookie Run: OverBreak, a free-to-play platformer with over 800,000 reviews on the Google Play Store.

This entry in the franchise is a city-building gacha RPG. It sees you teaming up with confectionary-based characters old and new to cultivate a fantasy kingdom complete with jelly factories, magic labratories, and – er – wood shops.

There are single player battles with Cake Monsters, PvP battles with other players (who may or may not be cake monsters in real life), and more than 200 campaign levels to work your way through, all the while uncovering new story details.

Cookie Run: Kingdom looks solid and extremely colorful, though some users are complaining on the Google Play Store about poor performance. You can probably file that under “teething troubles”.

You can try out Cookie Run: Kingdom on the Google Play Store for free right now.
