Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the sprawling gothic metroidvania from a developer of the original Castlevania games, has just been updated to version 4.0.
The latest content update adds a paid DLC called IGA’S BACK, adding the powerful fan favorite Swordwhip weapon, along with a boss fight against a digital recreation of Koji Igarahi, the man behind the game.
Also included in the latest update are a new Boss Rush mode, a new SpeedRun mode, and a Sound mode in the Extra mode. We don’t know what that means.
Plus, the basic control support has been optimized, which is good news since poor controls was the one major glaring fault with this port when it landed on Android last year.
The IGA’S BACK DLC costs a mere 99c – just 10 percent of what it costs on PC. You can download Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for $9.99 right now on the Google Play Store.
