Funko Pop! Blitz, the match-three puzzler based on the pop culture-mainlining Funko Pop franchise, has returned to the ’80s for its latest mashup.
This time you’ll get to collect the characters from The Princess Bride, Rob Reiner’s beloved comedy adventure based on the novel by William Goldman. Those characters, of course, are Westley, Buttercup, Inigo Montoya, and Fezzick the good-natured giant.
If you collect all four you’ll also get Vizzini, erstwhile boss of Inigo Montoya and Fezzick, before they saw the error of their ways and joined forces with the Dread Pirate Roberts. If you haven’t seen the film, you really should.
Gameplay-wise, you’ll need to clear lines to bring goblets into contact with Vizzini, thus thwarting his plan to kidnap Buttercup.
The Valentine’s Day event lasts from the 11th till the 17th of February, and there’s a “very special” reward at the end for those of you who manage to collect all five characters.
Also included in the update is a Valentine’s Couples Box, which lets you reunite couples from Parks and Recreation, The Office (US), and Universal Monsters.
