Funko Pop! Blitz, the simple matching puzzler based on the popular Funko Pop! range of big-headed figurines, is getting a crossover event with ’90s school comedy Saved by the Bell.
Honestly, we’re starting to resent how easy it is for Funko Pop! Blitz to persuade us to write stories about it. After all, the game never really changes – but those pop culture partnerships are difficult to resist.
Keen Saved by the Bell-watchers will be aware that this month saw the untimely passing of Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in the show. Naturally, Screech is available as a collectible character in the event, along with Lisa Turtle, A. C. Slater, Jessie Spano, and Kelly Kapowski.
If you manage to get all of the them, you’ll also nab yourself the ultimate prize of Zach Morris.
The minor gameplay twist in this event is that you need to get Foam Finger objects to the bottom of the screen, because Foam Fingers represent the show better than any other object.
The Funko Pop! Blitz Saved by the Bell event will run from February the 25th until March the 3rd.
