Tropico: The People’s Demo Out Now for Android

Tropico, the game of building, politics and shenanigans on a tropical island, has been out on Android for a while now. But it’s quite expensive. If only there was a way to experience it for free to see if you like it. Wait! There is! It’s called Tropico: The People’s Demo, and it’s out right now on the Play Store.

This demo version features the tutorials and the first mission of the campaign mode. You can also play through three years of the game’s sandbox mode.

If you like what you see, you can buy a one-off IAP to unlock the rest of the game. Your progress will continue over once you’ve made the purchase, so you don’t have to worry about starting all over again.

You’ll need 2.5GB of space to play the game, and a device that can run at least Android 9.0. There’s a full list of supported devices on the Tropico: The People’s Demo Play Store page.

If you fancy having a go at running your own island republic, you can click here to download Tropico: The People’s Demo from the Google Play Store. It won’t cost you a thing, and we all need a sunny holiday right about now.
