Kabam has just released a new update to Marvel Realm of Champions that pushes the game up to version 4.0. The latest update features some pretty cool features, new characters, new weapons and a whole new story too. Read on to find out more.
Perhaps the most interesting new feature is Transmog. This lets you use the appearance of different pieces of gear, while still retaining the synergies and powers of a different piece of kit. Basically, if you find a look you like, you can keep it and not miss out on any bonuses you might get from upgrading to more powerful gear.
The new story sees an Unworthy Thor and a Winter Soldier going on an adventure. Thor is looking to reclaim Mjolnir, while the Winter Soldier is looking for redemption, because that’s what Winter Soldiers are ALWAYS looking for. Let’s watch a trailer now, shall we?
Alongside the story there’s some new outfits for Thor – the Odinforce suit of armor and the Unworthy outfit. There’s also a new weapon for Hulk called the Wing Shield, which will change your abilities when you equip it.
What else? Well there’s the Asgardia Conquest Arena Environment, which is the first Republic of Asgardia environment to be added to the game. So that’s something, right?
