My Friend Pedro is a stylish shooter that’s been out on home gaming systems for a while now. There have been rumblings that a mobile version might be on the way, and that’s sort of true. My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge is a brand new, mobile-exclusive game and it’s set to launch this summer.
The game sees you following the instructions of a talking banana. He needs to rescue his family – you need to shoot a load of goons in the face in super-stylish and cool ways.
The mobile version looks like it’s something of a departure from the original, especially in terms of aesthetic. However, it does look like there’s still loads of elegant, bullet-time style violence. Here’s a trailer to give you an idea.
Looks pretty cool, right? The game is going to be free to download, with what looks like a single IAP to unlock the whole thing. There are 37 levels, some of them vehicular-based and a Blood Rush mode for anyone who wants to really test themselves.
