It was only last week that Xcom 2 Collection launched on the Play Store, and now there’s another Xcom game out in certain parts of the mobile wild. It’s fair to say that Xcom Legends looks like it’s taking a different tack to the other games in the series, though.
The game has soft-launched in selected countries around the world, and while it’s set in the Xcom universe, there’s a distinctly more mobile feel to proceedings than you’ll be getting from Xcom 2.
By the looks of things, the game is a squad-building, midcore turn-based battler. You’ll be building up a team from classic Xcom characters to take down the alien scourge.

It all sounds like a lot of other games we’ve seen on mobile over the past few years. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, well that all depends on you really.
