A lot of puzzle games on the Play Store are pretty bland, asking you to match things or pop things and not much else. Moncage looks set to do things differently when it lands on Android next month.
The game is all about shifting your perspective around the titular cage, looking at its strange, perspective-defying contents from different angles to make connections and solve puzzles.
It looks pretty darn smart from what we’ve seen. Most of what we’ve seen is in the trailer we’ve embedded below, so why not give it a watch and see what you think.
There’s also a touching story bubbling under your puzzling that revolves round a son and his father. It all has the feel of a puzzling classic in waiting, which makes us even more excited that it’s coming next month.
When next month? November 16th to be precise. When it lands on the Play Store it’ll be a premium game and it’ll set you back $4.99, which seems like a good price to us.
We’ll let you know if we hear anything else about Moncage – pre-registration details and that sort of thing – before it launches. You can find out more about the game at its Twitter account here.
