You can now Land the Space Shuttle on Your Phone With F-Sim Space Shuttle 2

When it comes to niche gaming experiences, there aren’t many nicher that F-Sim Space Shuttle 2. And depending on where you stand that’s a really good thing, or something to ignore entirely. This article is aimed at the former, not the latter.

The game sees you piloting the now defunct space shuttle, trying to bring it back to earth without crashing, exploding, or plowhing into residential areas. Apparently all of those things are bad form for Space Shuttle pilots.

There are a variety of different options that range from hand-holding and holographic projections to get you to the landing site, to a hands-off approach where you’re in control of all the buttons and levers.

There are a couple of different modes, various achievements and leaderboards, but the focus here is very much (and by very much we mean entirely) on landing the Space Shuttle.

There’s controller support too, and an orbit mode and a third landing site that have been added since the original game. There’s a massive graphical overhaul too.

If you’d like to give the game a go, you can click here to download F-Sim Space Shuttle 2 from the Play Store. It’s a premium game and it’ll set you back $4.99.
