Disney Twisted-Wonderland Launching Next Year in North America

Ever wanted to play a game about antiheroes in the Disney world that’s equal parts Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts, with some rhythm action sections thrown in? Yeah, Disney Twisted-Wonderland is weird, and it’s launching in North America next year.

The game looks to blend ideas from a bunch of genres, with scraps, story, lessons and dancing sections. And it’s set in a college in an alternate Disney reality that trains villains. Okay, sure.

It’s been out in Japan for a while, but now it’s making the shift to the west. Here’s a trailer to give you some idea of what the game’s about. Spoiler – it probably won’t do that.

It all looks very weird and slightly confusing, but it’s possible that we’re old and missing the point. And it seems like it’s been pretty popular in Japan, which, we imagine, is why it’s heading to other corners of the world.

Disney Twisted-Wonderland will launch on the Play Store on January 20th next year. Whether it’ll be landing anywhere other than North America, we’re not sure. You can click here to pre-register for the game on the Play Store, though.
