There have already been a few retro re-releases under the ACA NeoGeo brand on the Play Store. But the latest one is a particular gem – KOF 2002 is out right now for Android.
The game is a classic side-on brawler with some neat twists. You’re fighting 3-on-3 battles, picking from a roster of legendary fighters then kicking, punching and fireballing your way to victory.
This is the ninth entry in the KoF series, and it introduced an easier MAX Activiation System to allow for a more in-depth smacking-people-in-the-face experience.
Like the other games in the ACE NeoGeo series, there are a few tweaks here to make the game more palatable to modern fingers. There are different versions of the game to choose from as well.
