After a variety of soft-launches, betas and testing, Puzzle Quest 3 is now out worldwide on the Play Store. So if you want to match things together and whomp monsters, you’re in luck.
The big change for this latest entry in the main series is that the game is now free to play. We imagine that’s going to put a lot of you off, and that’s a perfectly acceptable response.
The core mechanics are the same – create matches to deal damages to monsters, fighters and other horrors. There’s some much swankier 3D graphics accompanying everything this time round. Which you can check out in the trailer we’ve embedded below.
Alongside the single player story you’ve also got PvP and co-operative multiplayer modes. So you can mash up your friends, or join with up to three of them to take down dungeons.
There are daily quests, weekly bounties and all the trappings you’d expect from a mobile game in the modern era. And lots of loot. Of course there’s lots of loot. Confusing, multi-faceted loot.
