The third season of Psyonix Studios’ excellent mobile reimagining of Rocket League, Rocket League Sideswipe, is set to kick off today. And it’s adding a bunch of new content to the game.
Two new time-limited modes are being introduced in the latest update. There’s Threes, which lets you join together with two other players in 3-on-3 matches. Then there’s Arena: Longfield. Which has a long field.
On top of that there are some new tweaks, a spectator mode and some other interesting new additions designed to keep things fresh. One of those is a new Rocket Pass, and rewards for your progress in the last season.
The new stuff should be available on the Play Store as we’re typing out these words, and if you upgrade your version of the game you’re going to get it. Which is nice.
