Online gaming expo the Summer Games Fest 2022 is in full swing, and while a lot of its attention is focused on AAA console and PC gaming, it’s also saved some space for mobile. Or, more specifically, for HoYoverse’s two upcoming mobile games.
That’s right, new trailers for train-based space-faring RPG Honkai Star Rail and cyberpunk-ish anime ARPG Zenless Zone Zero have landed as part of the SGF celebrations.
First up let’s check out the trailer for Zenless Zone Zero. It was only recently announced, and this new trailer gives us our first sustained look at what the combat in the game is going to be all about.
Let’s be honest here, that looks absolutely gorgeous. Sure, it doesn’t actually explain how the combat’s going to work, but it’s definitely going to look really good. So that’s nice.
Next up we’ve got a new trailer for Honkai Star Rail. We know this one is going to feature turn-based battles and is probably closer to a full release than ZZZ.
Again, it looks absolutely gorgeous. HoYoverse is nailing it when it comes to visuals. Whether either of these games will replicate the success of Genshin Impact remains to be seen, but we’ll let you know as and when we hear more about either of them.
