Pre-registration is now open for Era of Conquest – Here’s All We Know

A couple of weeks ago we revealed that Era of Conquest is about to go into closed beta. Now we have a date. The Early Bird beta event is set to take place on July 14th at 8am EST, while pre-registrations are open right now.

For the uninitiated, Era of Conquest is a 4x real-time strategy game – 4x meaning exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination. It sees you picking a civilization, recruiting various historical heroes, and setting out to achieve world domination.

This is likely to be quite a feat since Era of Conquest is an absolutely massive game in all respects. The world map is vast, spanning an area that measures 120km by 120km. And it contains, well, potentially everybody.

Not only does Era of Conquest boast global servers and support for 19 languages, but it’s cross-platform across iOS, Android, and PC.

The civilizations on offer include China, Rome, Japan, Britain, France, Germany, and the Vikings. There’s an even greater variety of heroes, and you can combine these into unique formations, drawing on their individual strengths and skills to eke out an advantage in battle.

Conflict is the name of the game, but you can also join forces with other players to form alliances, pooling your resources to help you overcome the many challenges that the Era of Conquest throws at you.

While Era of Conflict hasn’t yet appeared in most of the world, it’s already a huge hit in China. The game has topped the download charts on iOS and appeared as a Featured app on the front page of the Chinese App Store on multiple occasions.

One of the reasons for Era of Conflict’s success is that it’s absolutely fair. The only ways to increase the size of your army are through automatic conscription and opening conscription boxes.

There’s absolutely no way to speed up the automatic process, and you earn conscription boxes through PvP matches, which are won on merit. Paying to win isn’t an option.

Presentation is another factor in Era of Conflict’s massive success. It looks absolutely superb, with fully 3D graphics and a fab CGI cartoon art-style. Plus, the developers have somehow pulled off the feat of putting up to 6,000 troops on the screen at the same time, which is a sight to behold.

And here’s how you can behold it before almost everybody else.

The Early Bird event begins at 08:00 (EST) on July 14 in 25 different countries. They are: US, Canada, Australia, UK, Philippines, Portugal, Brazil, Indonesia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, South Korea, Japan,Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

It’s also restricted to Android and PC users. If you’re lucky enough to live in the right place and play on the right platform, you’ll be able to sample the game early and start working on your unassailable civilization.

Early bird data will be saved on the server, so nothing will be lost too – but when the game launches you’ll helpfully receive a refund on anything you purchased during the event.

If you register an account with the same name on a different platform, or re-register an account, you won’t be able to claim a reward.

Plus, you can only do the Early Bird event once per account, so you can’t stack rewards.

What you can do, however, is get a sneak peek at one of the most promising strategy games of 2022 and lay the groundwork for a civilization for the ages.

To sign-up, pre-register for Era of Conflict on the Google Play Store or download it on PC.
