New Android Games: Best New Android Games This Week

A week has finally passed between our last roundup, so it’s time for the best new Android games this week. If you’re itching to play some new games on mobile, this is your chance to pick up the latest and greatest releases.

As always, we may have missed a game or two in this list. If we have, please be sure to mention it in the comments below. Unfortunately, this is a week mostly filled with duds, but we’ll list them anyways.

With that said, let’s get onto the list. These are the best new Android games that have released in the last seven days. We hope you find some new goodies.

Best New Android Games: Pokémon TCG Live

Technically not a full release, Pokémon TCG Live is currently in its open beta period. This complete remake of the Pokémon TCG mobile game is a huge step forward for the collectible trading card game on mobile.

In this new version, you’ll have a customisable trainer to represent yourself. As a whole, the game’s presentation is a marked improvement over the original. However, the lack of a landscape mode is a shame.

Nevertheless, Pokémon TCG Live may one day make it on our best Android card games list. After all, being able to get a digital pack of cards every time we buy a real one is a very promising feature.

World 5 A Side Football

A serious football simulator, World 5 A Side Football is a simply footie management sim on mobile. If you’re into simplistic versions of SEGA’s brilliant Football Manager, maybe this is worth a whallop.

Available for free, Swipe Studios’ new footie simulator is a very basic time. With incredibly basic graphics, there’s not really much here if you’re not a fan of The Beautiful Game.

Nevertheless, the name does have 480 players across 32 nations. You’ll be able to control parody versions of iconic players such as Lionel Messi and Christiano Roalnado — Lionel Messy and Christiano Ronaldonut respectively.

Knockout

An interactive trivia game, KnockOut is a live quiz game brought to you by ITV Sports. If you’re a hardcore footie fan, this is the game for you! If not, maybe skip this section.

In KnockOut, in-game tournaments happen live against other players. Each major tournament kicks off directly after a real-world match, allowing you to keep the excitement going long afterwards.

The key for winning in KnockOut isn’t about knowing everything about footie, but answering quickly. You’ll still have to know the answers, of course. However, getting in quick is the key to winning.

If you want to give the game a download, follow this link to the Google Play Store. On the other hand, maybe more suitable games for you can be found below.

The Week Off

A new text-adventure game, The Week Off is a cheap little title on Android. Developed by Raevoun, this game is essentially a miniature life simulator.

Priced at £0.79, this is a very cheap title on mobile. Despite that, there’s a fair amount of content to play through if you’re a fan of the genre.

For those who love alternate endings, there’s a lot to collect here. In a very Stanley Parable way, there are 40 different endings to experience. Furthermore, new endings are planned to be added in the future!

You can pick the game up right here!
