PvP RTS game Clash of Clans now available for select Android devices

A couple of weeks ago we talked about the fact that Supercell had changed their stance on bringing Clash of Clans to Android after long stating that they wouldn’t be doing that. Since then the game has been in a limited beta for a short period of time and now the game is officially on Google Play for select Android devices and by select Android devices we means tablets mostly.

For those of you not familiar with this game, Clash of Clans is an extremely popular title over on iOS where players will build up their city, research new technology, build up their armies and battle it out with other players. There is a single-player campaign available to play through but the real meat of the game is the multiplayer gameplay.

Clash of Clans Features:

– Build your village into a undefeatable fortress
– Battle with players worldwide and take their Victory Points
– Join together with other players to form the ultimate Clan
– 14 unique units with multiple levels of upgrades
– Defend your village with Cannons, Towers, Mortars, Bombs, Traps and Walls
– Fight against the Goblin King in an epic campaign through the realm

While players do have to concentrate on offensive units, you will also need to get your defenses up as well for when someone decided to attack you. There is also the whole clan/guide ability as well for those players who want to band together.

Clash of Clans is now available for everyone on Google Play and is a free download. The game does contain IAPs but those don’t limit you from playing all the main content for free.

Thanks to Benjamin C. for the heads up!
