The New Vampire Survivors DLC Has Android Support

Feature image for our news piece on the second Vampire Survivors DLC. It shows a female character with light brown hair and eyes in a blue hat and coat, casting a spell with a book and stadd, she has slightly pointed canine teeth. There is a blurred forest in the background. Overlaid text reads: Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari.

Tides of the Foscari, a whole new Vampire Survivors DLC for the reverse bullet-hell masterpiece has landed, and we’re really excited, because Android support is already out, too!

The new DLC, like its older sibling Legacy Of Moonspell, brings a ton of new content to the game for a reasonable price.

New Places And New Secrets

Tides of the Foscari gives us another big map like the one that came in the first Vampire Survivors DLC, Legacy Of Moonspell. There’s another, secret map too. We won’t go into too much detail on how to unlock it, as we don’t want to spoil it for you.

Keep an eye out on the Lake Foscari map, or check out the full DLC notes for some clues.

Along with the new location come eight new characters, ranging from the fairly serious to the dangerously odd, and brings thirteen new weapons and so much synergy potential to the table. Why is there a party popper in there?

Tides of the Foscari also brings new tunes, with seven fresh music tracks thrown in.

An Explanation For The Uninitiated

If you’ve not heard of Vampire Survivors, we’ll take a moment to let you know what you’re missing. Vampire Survivors is a reverse bullet-hell rogue-like.

You wade through tons of ghoulies, ghosties, and long-legged beasties, throwing out projectiles automatically, and try to make it to the end of the round as the monsters get stronger and greater in numbers.

It’s very simple to pick up, but is it easy? No, we wouldn’t call it that.

The game is something you can pick up and leap right into, but getting through a level is no easy task, and death is nearly inevitable at the beginning. It’s only by upgrading that you get the stats and buffs you need to live longer.

The game also benefits from developers who try very hard to make their monetization fair and non-predatory, something that can be hard to find in the world of gaming.
