Capcom has just released the classic arcade platformer, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, on the Google Play store today. Most famous for being one of the most difficult platformers of all time, it has been “optimized” for gaming on mobile platforms.

Malaysian based developer, X Conique, will be launching their newest title, Dave the Knight, on Google play soon. The game, which features graphics resembling flash-based web browser titles, is currently out in Beta for those curious enough to test it out.
Cartoon Network Studios has released their newest RPG title onto Google Play this morning called Surely You Quest. The game is set in the universe of one of their recent animated series called Mighty Magiswords, and has you controlling protagonists Prohyas and Vambre, in their often-hilarious attempts to complete quests and defeat enemies using their infamous “Magiswords”.
Kemco – the company responsible for releasing dozens of RPGs on mobile platforms – has released yet another RPG on Google Play. As is the case with many of their titles, Chronus Arc has you play as a young man (Loka) who sets out on a journey to save the planet. The ‘Chronus Fragments’ are needed to prepare for the ‘Time Rewinding’, which only takes place once every 10 years.

JMJ Interactive, an indie studio from Sweden, are set to launch their rhythm based puzzler, AKIHABARA – Feel The Rhythm on mobile devices on January 26th. “Take a musical journey with Callie through the iconic Akihabara district as you groove to the beats and match icons on a grid”
Go Go Fairy gals is an arcade shooter where players guide a Fairy around a map blasting baddies with the power of cuteness (I guess). Developers FredBear Games & PlayPlayFun have soft-launched their newest title in a few select regions; the title is available to download from Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan, with the global launch coming soon.
Pine Entertainment have launched their new free-to-play title, Sky Dancer, onto mobile platforms. The game is an endless runner, which isn’t anything new as there are countless other titles in this genre on the play store – however this game brings with it a unique aspect as it marries sky diving with parkour, and features some beautiful visuals.
“In a time of gun and sword, the magical stone that maintains the balance of the world is stolen by high-tech aliens. The world is hanging on a thin thread. It all depends on you retrieving the magical stone…” That’s the description accompanying Chinese based developer, ChillyRoom’s new title, launched in an open beta on Google Play.
One man independent game studio, Lucky Chan Games, has launched it’s new casual game, Coin Shower, on Google Play. The puzzler is based on a Korean drinking game called “Baskin Robbins 31”.
