Madfinger Games’ multiplayer version of their popular third-person shooter game called Shadowgun will be dropping its beta tags and becoming an officially release in a week’s time. Announced over Twitter by the fine folks at Madfinger Games, Shadowgun: Deadzone has gotten an new trailer to celebrate the official release date for when the beta tags will be dropping.

Once in awhile we get to report on news that, in this day and age, we really shouldn’t have to report on but end up having to anyways due to the popularity of a particular game and the fact that there surely are Android gamers out there hoping that said particular game would be coming to Android. Today we get to do one of these reports on Clash of Clans, developed by Supercell, who has announced that a port will not be arriving for Android, at least not for right now.
We’ve reported on Star Command over the past little while from it’s Kickstarter project start to the 15 minute early gameplay rundown and everything in between. Well the developers have posted a new update over on their Kickstarter page that gives us a better idea of when Star Command will be released, what still needs to be done, and even a new video.
Thumbstar games has teamed up with Urbanscan to announce the first in a series of releases that the two companies will be doing together for Android. Called Gem Smashers, their first game release together, this is a action puzzler with 3D rendered graphics that puts a bit of a new spin on the Break Out / Arkanoid type of gaming we’ve seen available in the past.
A new full 3D aerial racing game has arrived onto the Goggle Play store from NuOxygen Games which sports some pretty solid visuals and gameplay. This isn’t a simple flight simulation game nor is it a mission based progression, it’s all about racing your opponents in low altitude racing and high rates of speed and hopefully not flying into a building at the same time.
Shadowgun: Deadzone public beta has been out for a little bit now and the updates have been coming pretty rapidly while the crew at Madfinger Games work out bugs and improve the game overall so that they can eventually drop those beta tags. Today an update was pushed out and for the most part it was a more behind-the-scenes update. However, it does fix one bug you might be experiencing which is concerning spawning of your character, or the lack thereof.
Green Throttle controller and console system announced, coming from the creator of Guitar Heroes
If there are not enough new controllers coming out onto the market right now that peak your interest, such as the SteelSeries FREE, MOGA or Nyko controllers, then you’ll be happy to know there is at least one more heading our way coming from a newly announced company called Green Throttle. This company was created by one of the creators of Guitar Heroes and some mobile gaming industry veterans. The goal, however, isn’t just to make a new controller but to turn your Android phone or tablet into a true gaming console.
PowerA has sent out word that their MOGA mobile gaming system has finally begun arriving on the store shelves at 1,150 AT&T locations across the USA for the usual price of $49.99. For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the MOGA controller, it allows for your phone to clip right into it, offering up all the standard buttons you could want in a full-size controller although slightly smaller in size and with the phone clasp. It can also double as a tablet gaming controller as well since it runs through Bluetooth.
A new aerial combat game has arrived onto Android called Daredogs from Bugbyte Productions. This appears to be the game development studio’s first release onto Android and it is a pretty good one. On op of being a pretty fun game to play, you will be inadvertently helping a good cause as well.
A new Action Adventure game has hit up Kickstarter in the hopes of getting funding to help get completed. Developed by Studio Fawn, Bloom isĀ great looking Unity3D built action adventure game with RPG elements layered onto it for a little extra depth. Currently Bloom is slated for release on PC, Mac and Xbox but when OUYA arrives it will be made available for that console as well since it is being made with Unity3D which allows the developers to launch the game on multiple platforms with very little effort or change.
