Survive.” Summing up the gameplay with that simple phrase, Pyrosphere has just released their third game, detouring from the Riddles realm and coming with a nice action game for you to try out. Last Fish puts its bets on simplicity and balances it with an easy to learn, hard to master gameplay.

Our weekly series of what we are playing has been transformed and Larry, the incredible edible squirrel as well like to call him, has fully taken it over. So from now on it will be named as Larry’s Play Corner where Larry will give you a quick rundown of a couple of games he’s playing each week, sometimes twice a week, giving you a glimpse at some lesser known titles you might want to check out.
Up until now, if you used the World of Warcraft Remote services on your Android and iOS device, you could use it partially for free. To access all of the features though, you had to subscribe to the service which ran $2.99 per month. It was an optional subscription you could sign-up for if you felt like you would use all of the features the app and service had to offer instead of what came with just using it for free.

Last week saw the release of a new space-themed arcade shooter called Star Splitter 3D. Developed by StepGames Inc, this game is all about shooting down your enemies in space while trying to earn enough money for additional upgrades to your ship. We have mentioned this rumor in the past a couple of times and it now looks as though the rumor could be on its way to becoming true. The rumor is that Rovio has been planning and developing an Angry Birds themed game but instead of focusing on the Birds story, this new game would tell the story from the pig’s point of view.
The names Chillingo and Android don’t often appear in the same article, even after EA bough the company out last year. When they do appear in the same article, the game associated with the article is usually a pretty good one. In this case we have a new title heading our way called Wake Up Buzii! which will be published by Chillingo and is being developed by iFun4All.
We have talked about Peter Molyneux’s upcoming virtual piñata game coming in September a few times already, mostly because of the humor we find behind the entire thing. As we reported last week, the game was delayed from its August 22nd release date to sometime in September due to NASA having an issue with the game’s name being Curiosity. Well Mr. Molyneux has come up with a new name, not very original, but still somewhat new.

The Broken Sword series of point-and-click adventures games have long been a fan favorite for PC gamers who like that genre. Android gamers were treated to a mobile version of one of the games called Broken Sword: Director’s Cut. Well after a bit of a break, a whole new addition to the series is hopefully on the way and the developers have put up a Kickstarter campaign to grab the funds to finish it.
