During Mobile World Congress 2012, HandyGames announced that they would be re-vamping their popular strategy/sim game, simply called Townsmen, and that they would be releasing it on Android. Well it looks like the re-vamping is done and now fans of the series can grab a copy of the new Townsmen off of Google Play.

Some interesting news today once again regarding Glu Mobile but this time it has nothing to do with zombies or shooting them in the face. This actually has to do with Glu decided to drop what must have been a decent chunk of change as they have just announced their acquisition of GameSpy from IGN.
Back during the Zynga press even in June, 2012, Phosphor Games announced their next project which is to be called Horn. At that time there was very little information about Horn except for the fact it looked visually amazing. For those of you unfamiliar with Phosphor Games, they were responsible for the great Silent Hill-esque game called Dark Meadow.
Gameloft has released a new title onto Android today called Monster Life which revolves around a more casual type of gaming. You will be in charge of raising the rather unique monsters found on the island of Numa which all happen to be made of paper, along with everything else on the island.
Recently we talked about Hasbro teaming up with DeNA for a slate of Transformers themed games for mobile gamers to dig into. Well now ngmoco is releasing details of what the first Transformers themed mobile game will be as well as when it will be arriving on both Android and iOS.

Last week we mentioned that Full Fat Games, developer of all the ‘Flick’ sports games, would be making the switch to the free-to-play business model and that the first title would be Agent Dash. Now you can dress up in a tux and be like James Bond in this new continuous running game.
A couple of weeks ago we reported on the possibility that Activision was gearing up to release Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies onto Android soon, thanks to a training manual posted by Activision on the official Call of Duty website. We guessed that since the manual was published, it wouldn’t be long before the game would follow and today it has landed on the Google Play store.
A new zombie killing game has arrived on Google Play, this time for a company called Mad Menace. Dubbed GraveStompers, this is a 3D rendered zombie apocalypse third-person shooter that also has a bit of a comedic twist to it instead of being all serious all the time. It isn’t just the zombies you have to worry about though.
EA and their newly formed studio Firemonkeys, a combination of Firemint and Iron Monkeys after last week’s studio combining, are offering up a first look at the upcoming Real Racing 3D and damn does it look good. While I’m so/so with racing games, Real Racing 3 could very well change that.
