Sony recently started allowing developers and Android tinkerers in general to download a beta Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Xperia Play. Sony is specifically looking for feedback on how well the games on the Xperia Play run on the new operating system. Sony is taking all that data and using it to make the official ICS update for the Xperia Play as stable as possible.

Ubisoft explains what the Ghost Recon: Commander mobile game will do and how it links to the PC Ghost Recon games
Ubisoft is working on a mobile Ghost Recon game called Ghost Recon: Commander which will not only be a game in itself but also connect to other Ghost Recon games that you play on the PC. So how will this all work? Ubisoft explained the idea behind it to PocketGamer recently and this is how things will go down.
There’s a developer within Google Play that you should watch out for. They’re called Free Games Apps Devlopers! (their spelling), and they currently have six “games” under their belt. Free Games Apps Devlopers! is running scams on unsuspecting users by making them think they’re downloading games, but they’re really just bombarding players with spam.
Not too long ago word got out that Team Meat were considering bringing Super Meat Boy to mobile devices, stating that it would be coming to “iOS and more” in terms of platforms which usually means Android as well. Along with pirated Google Play apps, there are also a number of these games that will never see the light of day. Following a tip from a reader, I was led to one of the deepest recess of the web to find an .APK to the original Final Fantasy. Don’t bother searching Google Play, you won’t find it.
