Flight Director meets rush hour traffic in this new game called Traffic Control by Rosewood Aquarium Studios. In Traffic Control you tap cars as they head into an intersection to accelerate them and avoid accidents with other cars.
SCVNGR is a geo-gaming platform that enables anyone to quickly and easily build location-based mobile games, tours, and interactive experiences that can be enjoyed from any mobile device or at least that’s what the website says. Either way it sounds and looks like a really cool concept.
It seems today is filled with all sorts of retro goodness for some reason. Kamyran’s Eye by PHK is a very retro looking “rogue-like” RPG (think even before the original Final Fantasy). One cool feature is that every time you play the game, the world changes a little bit so it’s never quite the same each time.
In the spirit of all things ’80s, Grave Digger by FightingFish Games (you got to love some of the developer names) comes to Android. Grave Digger was a really cool game back in the ’80s that was pretty popular so when I saw this game on the market I had to grab it and try it out.
Mini Droid Defense II by BlueCap Studio is another tower defense game but with more 3D style graphics in an isometric view. The creatures you kill also don’t follow an exact path making this particular tower defense game a bit harder then the rest of them that are out right now.
I read about a game today called Ghostwire: Link to the Paranormal that EuroDroid talked about that’s coming to Android. As I don’t own a Nintendo DSi or anything like it, I hadn’t heard about the game until now but after taking a closer look at it, it looks like it could be really fun and possibly scary.
Not so much a game but a utility for gaming, Wii Records by Thiago Rosa is an app (posted in the gaming section) that allows you to submit your records to wii-records.com automatically. It records your records achieved and submits it to the site which has roughly 420 games so far with available records to be broken.
Wouldn’t you know it, I come back from taking a day off and find a whole bunch of good games released during my day off and Droid Mini Golf by Patchwork Games is one of those. It comes in three flavors: Free, Ad supported or Paid and if you get this game I highly suggest the paid version over the other two, it seems to be the best working one with much better game play and more features.
