EA has re-launched their Origin website and with the new features looks to take on Steam at their own game. So what does this have to do with us? The new Origin will also be focusing on mobile gaming as well which includes Android. The site now acts just like Steam does for PC/console gamers.

Gameloft seems to be trying to push the boundaries a little bit with their upcoming game for Android called 9mm. A sort of Max Payne/GTA style game with a bit of Duke Nukem sprinkled in there for good measure, the trailers coming out for this game feature everything from beat downs to strippers. We approve.
Our friends at OrangePixel have released an update to their very popular game, Meganoid. The game is essentially a platformer where you have to avoid things that will kill you while collecting diamonds and eventually saving the world. There are diamonds hidden all over the place and the game is very challenging but fun.
OnLive has slowly been making moves to invade the Android gaming arena with it’s game streaming service. Yesterday during Uplinq 2011, they announced the Universal Wireless Controller. With this, you can play any of their games on any device that supports OnLive which includes Android tablets and phones.
Halfbrick, developers of the hugely popular Fruit Ninja game, have released another one of their very successful iOS games onto the Android Market. A lot of people have been waiting for this game to be released since we posted about it coming to Android soon. Now, Age of Zombies has arrived!
It seems as though Konami enjoys taking the road less traveled and instead of advertising all over the place that they have released a game, they are more than happy to just release it quietly. This time it comes in the form of the 1992 classic game X-Men. Time to kick some villain ass we think.
Back during CES 2011 we got to take a look at Toshiba and their offering for the Android tablet market. This 10.1″ beastly tablet was one of our favorites out of the entire show back then. Over the past few months since CES, there really hasn’t been a whole lot of info aside from official specs released.

Infinite Dreams has a new game in the works called Jelly Defense. This will be the third installment in the ‘Jelly’ series of games with the previous two, Jelly Chronicles and Jelly Invaders, having seen good success on iOS. Jelly Defense though will also be landing on Android shortly.
Burn the Rope is a new game that just arrived on the Android platform where your goal is to find the most efficient way to, well, burn the rope. While this seems relatively easy, you will quickly learn that it is, in fact, not easy at all since the flames on the rope only move upwards, not downwards.
