We have been hearing for awhile about PopCap bringing some of their big games over to Android. Two specifically mentioned, and highly wanted, games are Peggle and Plants vs Zombies. We have heard and reported on numerous occasions different time lines from PopCap. It seems we now have a bit more of a definitive answer.

Bang Bang Racing THD is a great looking racing game coming to Tegra 2 optimized Android devices this month. In fact, over Twitter, the developers of Bang Bang Racing gave a specific date that we will see this game available on the Android Market and nVidia’s Tegra Zone. So when is it coming out for us to play?
Lots, and I mean lots, of people are waiting for the official Teamspeak client to drop on Android. Currently still in the early beta development stages (since we last checked), what is there to use on your Android phone as a substitute? Mangler has got you covered for now in that department.
How about some more news regarding the upcoming cross-platform MMORPG called World of Midgard. Some of it will be sad news that will give you a sad face while the other news will give you a glimmer of hope. Especially if you are a mount collector in MMORPGs such as myself. It has been awhile since we have seen Getjar letting loose on exclusive free games for Android. That’s not to say they haven’t been doing that but it seems like it has been much more quite. Well that silence has been broke with Outlaw Racing 2011 exclusively available for Android on Getjar right now for free.
EAi has been sniffing around for another purchase to add to their mobile line-up of acquisitions to strengthen their mobile gaming efforts. First is was the purchase of Chillingo last year, then recently Mobile Post Production Inc. Now they have let it be known that they will be acquiring Firemint and adding their skills to theirs.
World of Midgard has been progressing pretty fast as of late if you take into account the recent wave of preview videos the development crew have been releasing. As they release these videos though, we can pick up on new information about the game and some of the unique units. Oh did we mention there would be Dragon mounts?
Well it seems Kage Games has re-released their game that made headlines about a week back after the Humane Society, Alicia Silverstone and Michael Vick, among others, complained about it and it was pulled for the market. Dog Wars is back on the market but under a new name, KG Dogfighting and of course is available right now.
Epic Pixel has just released their first game onto the Android platform called Grow. This is an underwater themed game where you play as one fish with one goal in mind, eat as many of the little fish as you can. There is a lot of them too but it won’t be as easy as you think thanks to all the big evil fish floating around.
