3008 The Hunt Guide

3008 is an SCP Foundation-inspired game that throws you into the Infinite Ikea, a strange and dangerous place where food and stuffed toy seals are plentiful… but the staff are a major hazard. So, how do you complete The Hunt’s objective?

Finding A Terminal

The first thing you need to do is find a computer terminal. These are on one side of pillars scattered throughout the store. You can see pillars by scanning the skyline for large objects. Does it count as a skyline if we’re indoors? Either way.

Head to a computer terminal and interact with it to request objectives. If you make the request during the day, you won’t get them until nighttime.

Completing The Objectives

Night falls. Open up your objective panel through the icons at the top of the screen, or if you’re a keyboard user, hit B. You should have three objectives to complete. These can include:

  • Walking a certain number of studs.
  • Picking up a certain number of objects. (This means lifting them to move them, rather than storing them in your inventory.)
  • Interacting with certain kinds of objects, or picking them up.
  • Hitting staff members. (Uh-oh.)

You need to complete the objectives during the night, so the faceless staff members will attack you if you let them catch you. You’ll probably need to run around the store. Don’t be too reckless though! Once the objectives are complete you need to also survive the night to get your badge and token.

If you make it to the morning, head to the nearest terminal to speak to Mr Egg.. if you’re not absolutely terrified of him. One look and I wanted to run. He’ll congratulate you on your achievements, and even better, he’ll go away.
