Anime Clash is one of the most anticipated Roblox titles in a while, but the release has not been without its problems. There were a few teething problems in its early hours, and now potential players find the game set to private. So thew question on everyone’s lips is: When is the Anime Clash release date?

When Is The Anime Clash Release Date?
Let’s lay out the timeline.
The Original Release
Anime Clash arrived for the first time on the 17th of February. The game was open before this, but just took you to an idle function that let you rack up gold and gems ahead of the full release. A few YouTubers access to the game prior to release, though noted some bugs in their own gameplay.
Problems And Going Private
A few hours after release, Anime Clash went private. Initial announcements indicated this was a short maintenance period, with one of the Anime Clash team stating on the official Discord:
“this was a stress test like we said, going to shutdown for maintenance. all of this will be fixed overnight, we apologize. took a big list of every issue that has been going on, thank you for all the love we have gotten so far.”
However, Anime Clash is still private at the time of writing, February 19th. The page is down as ‘Content Deleted’. Grim.
Is It Copyright Problems?
The Anime Clash team member, once again via the Discord, assured players so far that the downtime is to fix a number of bugs and polish issues in the game, and is not because of any kind of copyright claim, an issue that has taken anime-themed titles off Roblox in the past.
“If you see that the game is currently under review do not worry we are currently working on it, No this was not gamefam or an anime company, Stand by us we will get through this.”
So it looks like we stand a decent chance of getting the full gave eventually, but when?
When Will It Re-Release?
The devs have been pretty cagey about when to expect the new release date, which is understandable. Facing either missing a deadline, or releasing an undercooked game a second time, they are probably taking the cautious route with their predictions.
Announcements have cited ‘days and weeks’ in terms of the work, though whether that means progressive patches or a longer wait, it’s not clear just yet.
One piece of good news, one of the team polled users on the possibility of bringing back the AFK function, so you can at least keep racking up your points, and maybe score a special unit while you wait very soon.
