Sometimes even the best units could use a little more kick, and traits are a good way of giving that too them. These are rollable stats boosts that give a bonus to whatever unit has them, handy! Not all are created equal though. Some traits you’ll hardly notice, some make your unit a god among men. Want to find out which is which? Anime Fantasy Trait Tier List
Below we’ve arranged the current existing traits, ranking them in descending order of usefulness. S is the most valuable, and this goes all the way down to D where the most underwhelming traits live.
S
The best traits. These give massive bonuses, often to the point that the game has to limit their placement for the sake of balance. Even so they hit hard and your enemies will not be ready.
- Zenith (Limited to one unit on the field.)
- Aurora (Limited to two units on the field.)
A
Excellent traits that can improve a mediocre unit or supercharge a good one.
- Astral
- Celestial
- Ethereal
- Golden
B
Not bad. These are definitely useful on the field, though you could risk a reroll for something better if you have plenty of tokens to burn.
- Lightning
- Fortune
- Adept
- Ascension
C
If you have nothing else you can fall back on these, but they’re nothing special.
- Swift III
- Powerful III
- Range III
D
Pretty disappointing. Only a little better than no trait at all.

Disagree? Tier lists are never totally unbiased, and how you play might make a difference in how you use traits. Don’t drop something that’s working well for you just because a tier list says it’s bad!
