Complete Anime Last Stand Angel Guide

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of obtaining Angel, as well as some tips for using her during gameplay. Before we begin, it’s worth noting that the Angel Unit is based on the character Albedo from the anime series Overlord, so you may see this Unit referred to as Albedo in some circles.

How To Get Angel

To get your hands on the Angel Unit, you’ll need to get involved with the new Portal system added in Update 2. To put it simply, Portals are items that drop from Bosses. When used, they take you to a more difficult version of a Challenge stage, where the enemies have extra HP. The exact amount varies from 0% extra for Tier 1 Portals, to 200% extra for Tier 5 Portals.

Upon completing any Portal stage of Tier 4 or above, you have a chance to get Angel as a random drop. This chance is 3% on Tier 4, 4% on Tier 5, and 5% for Secret Portals. These aren’t brilliant odds, so you will have to grind through a lot of Portals before you can secure this Unit. If you use your Portals near the spawn point in the hub, more players are likely to join, which will make finishing them quicker and easier.

How To Use Angel

So you’ve been lucky enough to get yourself an Angel. Now how do you use her effectively? Angel is just a generally powerful Unit, so her position in-game isn’t hugely important. We wouldn’t recommend placing her right by your base, however, as that could prevent you from getting full value from her Bleed effect later on.

In terms of Techniques, you have a bit of choice. Avatar works incredibly well with her Bleed damage, but comes with the downside of restricting her to one Placement rather than the usual three. Shinigami and All Seeing are solid alternatives, not offering quite as much in terms of stats, but letting you place multiple Angels to make up for it.
