Complete Anime Last Stand Lightning Queen Guide

In this guide, we’ll cover how to add Lightning Queen to your roster of Units. We’ll also discuss her stats, and some strategies you can use to make the most of her in battle.

How To Get Lightning Queen

Lightning Queen is an Exotic rarity Unity, meaning you can’t get her through normal rolling. Instead, you can receive her as a random reward upon finishing a Portal. Portals are items that drop randomly from Bosses. When used, they take you to a modified version of a Challenge Mode level, where enemies have more HP than usual.

Portals come in six tiers, with the enemy HP bonus increasing as the tier does. Generally, you can receive higher-tier Portals as drops from other Portals, so once you’ve found one you should be able to chain them to increase your tier. Altenratively, you can hang around the spawn point in the main hub. Players often start Portal levels there, and you can join them without needing a Portal of your own.

In any case, Lightning Queen only drops from tier 5 or Secret tier Portals. Her exact drop rate is currently unknown, but going by the other Portal-exclusive Units it’s likely somewhere between 2 and 6%.

How To Use Lightning Queen

To properly understand Lightning Queen, you first need to understand the Electrified status. An Electrified attack will inflict extra damage equal to double that of the original attack over a 3-second period. In addition, it also stuns enemies briefly, keeping them around to take that extra damage.

Lightning Queen inflicts Electrified with all of her attacks from the start. What that means is, when evaluating Lightning Queen, you essentially need to multiply her Damage by 3. Of course, since the extra damage is Lightning-based, this will be more or less true depending on the elemental resistances of the enemies you’re facing, but overall it’s a good rule of thumb.

The extra damage from Electrified only kicks in if the enemy in question sticks around long enough. To maximise its usefulness we’d recommend placing Lightning Queen as close to the enemy spawn point as possible.

What about Techniques and Skill Trees? Lightning Queen has a Placement value of one by default, so any of the three ultra-powerful Celestial Techniques that limit you to one Placement of a Unit would be ideal for her. Glitched is naturally the best option, but Avatar and Overlord will get the job done too. Skill Tree wise, Lightning Queen is one of the few Units who can profitably pursue an Elemental Damage build.
