Update 3 brought with it a plethora of new characters to enlist into your tower defence team. Mainly fan favourite characters from JJBA, but are they true to lore powerful, or do some fall flat? The new unit Swordman is, of course, based on Bruford from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure – Phantom Blood.

Anime Last Stand Swordman
Onto the basic overview of Swordman, including some basic stats:
Swordman can be obtained via Banner 1 and Banner 2 when he’s in the banners. He is a Mythic unit with a 0.5% drop rate from the summons. He is a Ground-to-Hybrid type with a Demonic element. During deployment, Swordman enjoys a placement of 5.
So, let’s get into his initial deployment and upgrade stats from Level 1 so you know what his absolute bare minimum capabilities are.

Is Swordman A Good Unit?
Depending on your team set-up, yes! He isn’t the strongest unit added to this update, but he is more accessible and a great unit to deploy for powerful attacks. Plus, he can inflict bleed DMG, which helps a lot for tankier enemies, slow-draining them of HP.
