Anime Vanguards Monarch
Monarch currently takes the throne for the rarest Trait available in Anime Vanguards. During rerolls, you have a slim 0.1% chance to attach this mythical rarity Trait to your unit. Ideally, you’ll want to roll for the Monarch trait on a meta DPS unit, as it’s less effective when blessed upon a Support or Farm character.
This is because the Monarch Trait amplifies all the leading stats that make a unit heavy hitters and the front lines of combat. Monarch applies the following to a unit:
- x4 DMG Boost – Increases the unit’s base attacking power by itself 4 times, capping at a 300% increase.
- 10% SPA reduction – Reduces the cooldown between attacks.
- +5% Range – Increases the Units reach after placement by an additional 5% on top of their base Range.
Whilst all this seems generous, your unit with the Monarch Trait will be restricted to a placement of 1 regardless of their placement count prior. This makes choosing where to put the unit critical for survivability during any game mode where Traits are allowed.
This also means that the Monarch Trait should be reserved for your best units such as a Secret or Exclusive, that already have stronger base stats versus lesser rarity characters.
How To Get More Trait Rerolls
Trait Rerolls are the only way to keep gambling in hopes of stumbling upon the Monarch Trait. Luckily, the game offers numerous ways to get your hands on some including:
- Achievements – Completing in-game Achievements awards Trait Rerolls.
- Battlepass – Completing the Battlepass at certain Tiers gifts Trait Rerolls.
- Level Milestones – Each 5 Player Levels awards you with numerous goodies including Trait Rerolls!
- Challenges – Complete Challenges to earn Trait Rerolls alongside other loot.
- Quests – Quests unlike most other options refresh often and give players numerous chances to get Trait Rerolls.
