In addition to its Weapon, Race, Class, and Skill options, Arcane Lineage also lets you choose a Covenant to join. The Way of Life in Arcane Lineage is one of the better options, and we’ll show you why in this guide.
Arcane Lineage is a turn-based RPG right out of the old school. You can expect random encounters, unforgiving difficulty, and bizarre gameplay systems as you explore its vast open world. Once you hit level 10, the game lets you choose your path by giving you access to one of two Covenants: the Blades of the World, or the Way of Life. In this guide, we’ll be diving deep into the latter.
You can jump into Arcane Lineage right now via Roblox. For more on the game, check out our Arcane Lineage Weapons guide. If you like your RPGs with a bit of anime flair, our Project XL Arrow guide may be for you.
Complete Arcane Lineage Way Of Life Guide
As a Covenant, the Way of Life is focused largely on healing. Although there are many ways to heal in Arcane Lineage, it can still be useful to have additional sources. This is especially true for Classes that don’t get access to any healing themselves. In this guide we’ll show you how to join the Covenant, and the rewards you can get in return.
How To Join The Way Of Life
To become a card-carrying member of the Way of Life, you’ll need to make your way to Westwood. This is a town located in the Deeproot Canopy region of the map, reached by walking over a giant stone hand. Once there, ride the green stream of magic up into the trees, then head right and over a bridge to a Soul Selection circle.
From here, Head right again and cross another bridge to reach a large tree. This is the base of operations for the Way of Life Covenant. Head down the stairs inside and you’ll find the acting leader of the Covenant, Prelate Fyran, standing in front of a notice board. Talk to him to join the Covenant. Note that you’ll need to be at least level 10 in order to do so.
Way Of Life Progression And Skills
Once you’ve joined the Way of Life, you can start reaping the rewards. You can increase your Rank in the Covenant by turning in Mossy Runes. These are Items you can get either by brewing Potions in Arcane Lineage (You have a 25% chance to get a Mossy Rune every time you brew one), or by completing Quests.
The first Rank requires one Mossy Rune, the second two Mossy Runes, and so on up to Rank 20. In total, you’ll need 225 Mossy Runes to max out the Covenant. The following is a list of the rewards you get for doing so, and the Ranks at which you get them.
Rank | Mossy Runes Required (Running Total) | Rewards |
