We’ll try and cover each of the steps and details on each aspect here.
About The Harpoon
The harpoon is a large ship-mounted weapon with a dragon-like head fashioned onto it. It can be operated by standing at the station in front of it. The harpoon fires a large projectile on a chain. This doesn’t seem to do damage however.
Getting The Harpoon
The Harpoon is only available on a special ship, The Beast Hunter. The ship is only available by trading with the Beast Hunter NPC. You can find him at Tiki Outpost by going through a doorway on the right of the docks, and up a ladder. To get the ship, you need the following items.
- 6x Electric Wings
- 30x Fool’s Gold
- 20x Leviathan Scales
- 2x Mutant Teeth
- 6x Shark Teeth
So yes, you will probably have to fight The Leviathan first. It’s all part of the process!
Harpoon Uses
Once you have The Beast Hunter and the harpoon then it’s time to take on The Leviathan one more time. Once the beast is taken down, fire the harpoon into the Leviathan’s Heart. Got it hooked? Then head back to Tiki Outpost. If you can get back there without dying on the way, all your crew get the Leviathan’s Heart item!
