Can You Dupe Seeds in Grow a Garden?
Most dupe methods shared on YouTube are quickly debunked or patched. The Grow a Garden DEVs don’t exactly enjoy exploiters in their relaxing gardening simulator. So, can you duplicate seeds in Grow a Garden, or is the information online actually misinformation?
The only safe way to duplicate seeds is by using pet Foxes. All other methods soon become patched, or never existed at all. The Red Fox hails from the Mythical Egg with a slim 1.79% hatch chance. Every 10 minutes, it runs into another player’s garden and attempts to duplicate and steal a seed to bring back to its owner.
Some things to note: the Fox is RNG-based, meaning there isn’t a guarantee it will bring a seed at all. It also can’t duplicate event seeds, so if you’re like me and missed out on the Candy Blossom, it’s tough luck.
But, given that Foxes can duplicate seeds, the overall answer to this article’s question is yes, you can duplicate seeds in Grow a Garden. Plus, it’s legit, so no fear of being banned. If you want to maximise your duped seed chances, I recommend equipping as many Foxes as you can.
What Are Some of the Fake Dupe Glitches?
If you’re interested in trying them for yourself and don’t trust my judgement, then I’ll share some of the ‘Dupe Glitches’… For science!
- Spam click the ‘Out of Stock’ button on seeds in the shop before the restock to trick the game into giving you additional seeds.
- Rush into your garden before the white loading screen and gather as many crops as possible. After the ‘Now your garden looks like this’ white screen finishes, the crops will grow back.
