Healing

Healing is an uncommon school of magic that focuses on healing and support spells.

Self Heal

  • Description: Heals for a percentage of health depending on how many clovers you have
  • Cooldown: 16 seconds
  • Mastery: 5

Healing Link

  • Description: Links you to a target, providing passive healing to them
  • Cooldown: 0 seconds
  • Mastery: 15

Healing Field

  • Description: Creates a medium-sized healing field
  • Cooldown: 0
  • Mastery: 35

Death Ward

  • Description: Prevents death to nearby enemies, and heals them to 25% HP when they die
  • Cooldown: 0
  • Mastery: 45
  • Requires: 4-Leaf Clover

Melody

Melody is a common school of magic that plays like a bard in a traditional RPG. Spells can apply the following passive effects to allies, so make note of their effects.

  • Melodized: Reduces damage taken by 5%
  • Dissonized: Increases damage taken by 5%

Melody Blast

  • Description: Deal magical damage to enemies it hits, and provides party members with the Melodized status effect
  • Mastery: 5

Melodic Amplifier

  • Description: Deal magical damage to enemies it hits, and reduces damage by
  • Mastery: 12

Melodic Seascape

  • Description: Creates an AoE effect nearby, pushing back enemies and inflicting melodized on allies who touch it
  • Mastery: 25

Wind

Wind is the only uncommon school of magic in the game, and allows you to create weapons out of gusts of wind.

Gale White Bow

  • Description: Create a bow of wind whose arrows can home in on enemies

Crescent Moon Sickle

  • Description: Fire a blade of wind that deals AoE damage to those it passes through

Tornado

  • Description: Create a tornado of wind that pulls in enemies and damages them

Gale Vortex Veil

  • Description: Summon a shield of wind that absorbs damage equal to 25% of your max HP before exploding, dealing damage and pushing enemies away

Slime

A rare school of magic that shoots out globs of slime and debuffs enemies.

Viscous Blob

  • Description: Shoot a ball of slime that splits into four, damaging nearby enemies and slowing them down
  • Mastery: 5

Viscous Strike

  • Description: Create an X of slime that attacks in front of you, damaging enemies and slowing them down
  • Mastery: 12

Viscous Floor

  • Description: Turn into a puddle of slime, increasing speed and dealing damage to nearby enemies, slowing them down
  • Mastery: 25

Fire

A rare school of magic that’s your traditional fireball wizard class. It can inflict the Burn passive, dealing damage over time.

Flameball

  • Description: Shoot a fireball that damages an opponent it hits
  • Mastery: 5

Flame Scattershot

  • Description: Create a ball of flame that periodically attacks nearby enemies before exploding, dealing AoE damage
  • Mastery: 15

Flame Thrash

  • Description: Deal AoE damage in front of you and possibly inflict burn
  • Mastery: 25

Flame Tower

  • Description: Erupt flames where you aim, dealing AoE damage and inflicting burn
  • Mastery: 45

Lightning

An epic school of magic that’s, as you can expect, all about powerful thunder-based attacks. Can inflict the following status effect:

  • Shocked: Deals extra damage whenever you inflict lighting damage on an opponent, stacks five times

Lightning Strike

  • Description: Fire lightning at a location, possibly applying shocked to anyone it hits
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds
  • Mastery: 5

Lightning Circus

  • Description: Deal AoE damage around you, dealing additional damage to shocked opponents
  • Cooldown: 16 seconds
  • Mastery: 25

Thunder Gods Attire

  • Description: Cover yourself in lighting, running faster, and dealing additional damage in combat
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds
  • Mastery: 75

Void

One of three legendary schools of magic, Void is all about applying the following condition:

  • Gloom: Stacks five times, exploding and creating a vortex when full

Worm Hole

  • Description: Dash forward, dealing damage and applying ‘Gloom’ to any targets you hit
  • Cooldown: 6 seconds
  • Mastery: 5

Depth Coil

  • Description: Create a void beneath your feat that applies Gloom and damages enemies that stand near it
  • Mastery: 25

Black Hole

  • Description: Summon a sphere of dark energy that damages enemies and pulls them in
  • Mastery: 65

Blood

If you want to be a vampire, this is as close as you’ll get in Clover Retribution. It’s a legendary school of magic that specialises in damage.

Wound

  • Description: Slash in front of you, dealing damage
  • Mastery: 5
  • Clover Effect: Two slashes

Crimson Cataclysm

  • Description: Deal AoE damage in an area around you
  • Mastery: 20
  • Clover Effect: Explosion grows in size

Crimson Pursuit

  • Description: Summon a bubble of blood that homes in on an enemy, attacking them
  • Mastery: N/A
  • Clover Effect: Increases the number of projectiles

Crimson Hydra

  • Description: Summon a hydra made of blood that attacks enemies
  • Mastery: 80
  • Clover Effect: Bigger hydra!

World Tree

The only mythic school of magic currently available in the game, which is capable of applying the following status effects:

  • Rooted: Enemies can’t move or attack, and every hit they receive is a critical
  • Weakened: Deal less damage, spend more mana on spells, and more susceptible to status effects

World’s Root

  • Description: Summon roots that damage opponents and apply the weakened condition
  • Mastery: 10

Arborial Ascendancy

  • Description: Leave a root on the ground that explodes when an enemy steps on it, dealing damage to nearby enemeis
  • Mastery: 25

Verdant Vortex

  • Description: Create a whirlwind of leaves and wood that damages enemies who touch it
  • Mastery: 45

Forest’s Embrace

  • Description: Summon roots that damage enemies and apply weakened and rooted
  • Mastery: 60

Great Tree Mistilteinn

  • Description: Create a world tree, regenerating health and mana by 2% every two seconds and reducing damage taken by 15
  • Mastery: 75
