Epic Minigames Shines Guide
Here we’ll go over how to get each of the Shines.
Inside Minigames – 2 Shines
Two of the five Shines spawn at random inside the games themselves. If you want to get these the best thing to do is just keep playing games until you see one. Once you’ve seen it, make an immediate dash for it before anyone else does.
Sports Obby – 1 Shine
Turn left at the beach (facing toward the sea) and head into the cave to find the Sports Obby. Jump and swim through a short course themed around balls and bats. Reach the end in one piece and there should be a Shine waiting for you there.
Ball Puzzle – 1 Shine
Head to the beach and hit the red button there. The device in the water should fire three physics-enabled sport balls into the sea. If you want the Shine, you’ll need to get each ball into the correct place for its sport. This means getting the basketball through the hoop, the golf ball into the hole in the central area, and the soccer ball into the goal at the back of the lobby. You can punt the ball with the interaction button, though it’s sometimes helpful to just nudge it along with your avi for finer control.
Top Of The Lighthouse – 1 Shine
Look up at the lighthouse and you should see a Shine right on the top of the roof. So close yet so far. This Shine doesn’t require special tricks… but it is tricky. You might need to mess with your avi or try to course correct mid-air to get around the lighthouse balcony and onto the roof.
