About The Brother Rod
The Brother Rod is a Second Sea Rod with the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 50%
- Luck: 60%
- Control: 0.1
- Resilience: 10
- Max Weight Of Fish: 3,000kg
Along with the stats, it has its own passive ability, handy for an early game Second Sea rod. With every catch, there’s a 10% chance you can trigger the ability and get duplicate fish. Nice! The duplicate also gets the Brother Mutation, which increases its sale value by 150%.
How To Get The Brother Rod
To get the Brother Rod, you need to complete the quest The Lost Brother. It’s not too complicated, once you know what to do. In brief, you need to do the following.
- Speak To Luka on the Isle Of New Beginnings. He’ll ask you to find his brother, who is lost.
- Head to Cursed Shores and find Kael, Luka’s Brother. Speak to him.
- Kael will ask you to help him get something to eat. You need to catch three fish, and give him three fish… they don’t have to be the same fish.
- Kael then wants to find an amulet lost on Lushgrove Island. He will follow you around after this, so head there. You’ll find the amulet next to a patch of flowers at _
- Once you’ve got the amulet, sail back to the Isle Of New Beginnings and speak to Luka to reunite the brothers and get the Brother Rod.
