Fisch Challenger’s Rod Guide
Let’s get into the stats first, then we’ll go over how to reach it.
About The Challenger’s Rod
The Challenger’s Rod is a late game fishing rod with the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 80
- Luck: 110%
- Control: 0.2
- Resilience: 30
- Max Weight Of Fish: None
Along with the stats, it has a special passive ability. Using the Challenger Rod gives you a 20% faster progress speed when reeling in a fish. This can make a big difference, especially when you’re dealing with very tricky fish, or ones that incur a large progress speed penalty. It’s also great if you just want to farm fish for money, as you can pull them in 20% faster.
How To Get The Challenger’s Rod
The Challenger’s Rod is found in Challenger’s Deep, the second ‘layer’ of Mariana’s Veil. You can pick it up for 2,500,000C$. To get to the location isn’t necessarily an easy task though, we’ll go over the steps you need to carry out.
- Assemble the Submarine from Dr Glimmerfin at Roslit Bay by drilling the rocks for parts.
- Once your sub is constructed, speak to Dr Glimmerfin to open up Mariana’s Veil.
- Descend through the tunnels of Mariana’s Veils to the Volcanic Vents.
- Acquire the Inferno Hide, Blisterback Blenny, Infernal Iguanafish, and the Lava Crystal to upgrade your submarine. This should allow you to descend through the vents into Challenger’s Deep.
